The Tire Pressure Monitoring warning lamp display alerts the driver when pressure in any tire falls 25 percent below the recommended cold inflation pressure. The system monitors the individual tire pressure for all four tires on the ground and warns if the pressure is higher or lower than the preset ranges.
The system includes a self-training feature that automatically reprograms the system if the tires are rotated or the spare is used.

Dakota's available security alarm monitors the doors and ignition for tampering . When activated, it sounds the horn, flashes the headlamps, parking lamps, and/or tail lamps and prevents the vehicle from being started until the system is disarmed.

Sentry Key® utilizes an electronically coded key that incorporates an embedded transponder with a preprogrammed security key code. When the key is inserted into the ignition, the controller send a random number to the transponder and the engine is allowed to start.
